Richard A Kaeufer
President / Owner

Rich has twenty plus years of background in the office automation industry and more than twenty-five years of overall management experience. His knowledge spans the areas of project management, logistics coordination, distribution, installation, and service and support of computers and other office equipment. He has a bachelors degree in finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and has completed several MCSE (Microsoft) courses.


Rick Rankin
Fort Worth Service Operations

Data Applications Corporation has employed Rick for approximately ten years. Prior to joining DAC, Rick managed the IT service and maintenance functions for East Texas State University (now Texas A & M – Commerce) and was picked by DAC at the time we were awarded the service contract for that university. Since being with DAC, Rick has served as the Service / Repair Supervisor on our City of Fort Worth contract, Austin Site Manager where he had responsibility for overseeing contracts with the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Public Safety, Department of Insurance, State Controller’s Office, as well as several private sector clients. In January of 2004, Rick returned to Fort Worth where he currently serves as the Site Manager. Rick oversees contracts with the City of Fort Worth, Grapevine / Colleyville Independent School District, Tarrant County Appraisal District (subcontracted through Fujitsu), and several private sector clients. Rich is A+ and Network + certified and maintains hardware certifications with Dell and Hewlett Packard.


Phillip Edmonds
Dallas Service Operations

Phil has been a member of DAC’s technical services team since 1999 and has more than 15 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing many diverse types of electronic equipment. He attended the ATI Institute of Engineering Technology and holds certifications from Dell and Hewlett Packard. Phil has had supervisory experience in the areas of field service, depot repair, telephone support, inventory control, and quality control and testing.


Tom Williams
Purchasing and Inventory Logistics Supervisor

Tom is responsible for the purchasing, inventory management, and shipping / receiving / delivery of equipment. Tom has a strong background of over ten years working with manufacturers and electronic parts vendors in support of our field and depot organizations and is a Certified Purchasing Manager and active in the local chapter of the National Association of Purchasing Managers. He is responsible for the management of nearly half a million dollars of parts, sub-assemblies, maintenance back up, and whole units and the delivery of that inventory to field technicians, sub-contractors, and, most importantly, the end users in a timely and efficient manner.


Key Technical Resources

All Data Applications field technicians are required to obtain A+ and Network+ certifications. Currently, DAC has achieved a level of 80% certification look to reach 100% in the near future. DAC has made available the Security+ certification program to any of our technical staff that has interest. Additionally, all of our technicians have product certifications Dell and Hewlett Packard. Several have completed or are active in various Microsoft programs. All of our field technicians have experience in the repair and technical support of the equipment listed in the contract specifications. DAC employs a total of seven field and depot repair technicians who are assigned to run calls in the area of Dallas / Fort Worth area.
